FPPI’s 1/2” IPS Brass Union with Orifi ce is specifi cally design for_x000D_ use in the pressure sensing line for fi re pump systems. The union_x000D_ is fi tted with a 3/32” orifi ce which will provide adequate pressure_x000D_ drop into the sensing line without allowing unnecessary pump_x000D_ starts due to major pressure fl uctuations that may be indicated_x000D_ in the larger diameter (1/2”) line. The union is only allowed to be_x000D_ used where the water is clear and will not allow sediment to block_x000D_ the 3/32 inch hole. Check with pump manufacture for proper use.
