Recessed Canopy Coverage Extensions provider increased coverage of the recessed canopy fl ange against the ceiling or wall material where it is installed. The primary purpose is to allow for increased distance between the fi nished surface of the building interior and the recessed sprinkler assembly. AHJ’s within certain earthquake zones require a minimum of 1" space between the sprinkler or sprinkler drop and the material it penetrates. Can also be used to provide coverage for oversized holes cut in fi nish material from previous sprinkler placements. Fits most existing recess sprinkler canopies and is compatible with all FPPI Recessed Canopy’s.
